We Deliver – Padstones!

There’s a temptation at times to go for the headline stories- but that’s human nature I suppose. Its very easy to get caught up in the big achievements and in doing so, miss the “big message”. So, here’s one story that encapsulates one of our core values here at Killeshal, namely, “We Deliver!”. If you really need it… even just a couple of padstones… we’ll really deliver it.

Padstones for London

We were contacted recently by a lady from Hackney in London who could not locate one small unit for her build project (or rather, two of them). All she needed was two Padstones to fit with the lintel on a window.

Killeshal supply a broad range of padstones which are stronger than a masonry block and serve to distribute weight more efficiently through the blockwork, preventing cracks and structural failure. (You can find more about Padstones here: Click for Padstone info).

We were able to select the appropriate padstone for her requirements and provide a costing on shipment of the two units. This was obviously not a normal shipment… we are used to trucking anything from a pallet or two up to several lorry loads all across the UK. But, with a customer in need and unable to wait for the items to be piggy-backed onto the next larger shipment for London, we were only too happy to provide a solution. The customer received her products within a couple of days and thanked us by email.
